Charlie came to know Christ as his personal savior in 1979 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, while working for the Naval Oceanographic Office, and moved to RI in 1985. He has served as a Sunday School teacher and chairman and/or participant of numerous church boards and committees. After Hurricane Katrina destroyed much of Bay St. Louis he had the opportunity to return on several mission trips to help rebuild the homes of the daughters of the man who led him to the Lord. He currently serves as a Pastor and Sunday School teacher and is a member of the Gideons International Ministry. Charlie retired from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI, where he worked on submarine design. He lives in Charlestown, RI, with wife Linda and has been blessed with two grandchildren.
