Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Christmas Tableaux?
Our Tableaux are a guided excursion which incorporates scenes of The Betrothal, The Immaculate Conception, Mary’s visit with Elizabeth, Joseph’s visitation by the Angel, The Journey of Mary & Joseph to Bethlehem, The Census in Bethlehem, The Shepherds and Sheep in the field when the Angel appears, The Birth of Christ, The Wise Men, and The Cross. Culminating your walk (a Golf cart is provided for those with mobility challenges) through these Tableaux you will be escorted into the fellowship area of the church where families can enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies.
The 2024 Christmas Tableaux will be held on December 7 & 8 from 5:30 to 7:00pm each night.
The Christmas Tableaux are free and open to the public. They are presented beginning at 5:30 pm with last tour starting at 7:00 pm each night. Ongoing-guided tours taking about 15 minutes each.
Yes! Our walking tour is outdoors (dress warmly), family-friendly, and fully accessible. An electric golf cart is available for those with mobility concerns, and accessible restrooms are nearby. For the visually impaired, tour guides provide audible descriptions of scenes. Note that the route is across a lawn with small inclines and declines; for walking concerns, the golf cart is recommended. Please speak with the check-in attendant if you have any questions or concerns.
The Christmas Tableaux create an atmosphere encouraging to families, uplifting to volunteers, and an outstanding opportunity for sharing and caring. Our goal, through the message of the Christmas Tableaux, is to spread the Good News of the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Would you like more information concerning the Christmas Tableaux?
