Christmas Tableaux

What are the Christmas Tableaux?

Tab·leau [ta-bloh, tab-loh], plural tableaux [ta-blohz, tab-lohz] – “a representation of a picture, statue, scene, etc., by one or more persons suitably costumed and posed.” [reference here]

Perryville Bible Church is celebrating 25 years of Christmas Tableaux!
Scheduled for December 3 & 4, 2022!

We are pleased to welcome hundreds of visitors each year! The Tableaux portray the Biblical Christmas story, and many have come to make this a part of their annual Christmas celebration. Isn’t this what it’s all about? Jesus, the Reason for the Season!

The Christmas Tableaux are free and open to the public!
Guided walking* tours take about 15 minutes and begin at 5:30 (Final tour at 7pm). December 3 & 4,  2022!

The Christmas Tableaux use a host of costumes, animals, and props to create immersive and festive scenes. Through countless hours, the leadership team takes pleasure in preparing for these festive evenings!

Our Tableaux are a guided excursion which incorporates scenes of The Betrothal, The Immaculate Conception, Mary’s visit with Elizabeth, Joseph’s visitation by the Angel, The Journey of Mary & Joseph to Bethlehem, The Census in Bethlehem, The Shepherds and Sheep in the field when the Angel appears, The Birth of Christ, The Wise Men, and The Cross.

At the end of your tour, your group will be escorted to an area where each guest can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, a pre-packaged cookie and a family gift.

The Christmas Tableaux create an atmosphere encouraging to families and uplifting to volunteers. Come hear the Good News of the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
