This December, step into the world of Perryville Bible Church’s Christmas Tableaux, an enchanting candle-lit walk through still-life scenes depicting the nativity. On this 15 minute walk you will behold the stillness of captivating vignettes, made even more authentic by the presence of live animals.
This treasured tradition isn’t just an event; it’s a living legacy that continues to expand and flourish. Join us for a night of awe and together ness, where history, tradition, and Christ – the reason for Christmas – converge at Perryville Bible’s Church’s Christmas Tableaux!
The Christmas Tableaux are free and open to the public!
Guided walking* tours take about 15 minutes and begin at 5:30 (Final tour at 7pm).

The Tableaux are a outdoor guided, candle-lit walk through still scenes of the nativity. Scenes include the Joseph and Mary’s betrothal, Mary’s visitation by the angel Gabriel, Mary’s visit with Elizabeth, Joseph’s visitation by the Angel, Mary & Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem, the Roman census, angels appearing to shepherds in the field, the birth of Christ, the three wise men, and the cross. At the end of your tour, your group will be escorted to an area where you can visit while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate, a pre-packaged cookie and a family gift!
The 2023 Christmas Tableaux will be held on December 2 & 3 from 5:30 to 7:00pm each night.
Yes! The Tableaux are free and open to the public!
Yes! Our walking tour is outdoors (dress warmly), family-friendly, and fully accessible. An electric golf cart is available for those with mobility concerns, and accessible restrooms are nearby. For the visually impaired, tour guides provide audible descriptions of scenes. Note that the route is across a lawn with small inclines and declines; for walking concerns, the golf cart is recommended. Please speak with the check-in attendant if you have any questions or concerns.
