As Christians we are called to live out our faith through action, extending the love and hope of Jesus Christ beyond the walls of Perryville Bible Church. Our mission and outreach efforts are central to who we are as a church. By supporting various local, national, and global outreach initiatives, we are helping to share the Gospel with those who may not know Christ.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a global outreach initiative organized by Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian relief and evangelism organization. The project focuses on providing children in need around the world with shoeboxes filled with gifts and essential items during the Christmas season. These shoeboxes not only bring joy to children but also introduce them to the Christian message of love and hope.
Last Year PBC filled over 500 shoe boxes!
Helping Haiti's Orphans
Following the Biblical mandate stated in James 1:27, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”, the purpose of Helping Haiti’s Orphans is to provide for the spiritual, educational, emotional, and physical needs of orphans in Haiti, enabling them to become productive, caring and accountable Christian adults.
The Joshua Team
Supporting missions with Haiti since June 1959 , PBC’s Joshua Team is a group of individuals ministering on short term mission trips often traveling into the heart of adversity. The Team has ministered to hundreds and has traveled extensively to Haiti to work with Partners with Haiti. Following Hurricane Katrina, a number of trips were taken to Bay St. Louis, MS to assist in the re-building of homes & churches destroyed by the hurricane.
Our outreach programs offer opportunities for every member of PBC to engage in service, grow in their faith, and make a tangible impact in their community and beyond.
